Hi Gary,

This is great information! I admit to a certain amount of jealousy in that there is NO available information concerning 1509A's life prior to my father finding her on a dirt car sales lot in 1950. I'd love to know who her prior owners were.

I took the liberty of adding the limit-stop specification to my collection of vitals.

Thank you for sharing this informative history.

These 2 documents are the earliest ones I have on my car. This owner was later on the President of the Tucker Club and owned 2 Tuckers at the same time. Randy Ema knew him and shared with me information on him. Randy would drive up to his home and show him the "new car" he had just purchased. Then Mr. Hamlin would show off a "new car to him" that he just purchased. Mr Hamlin passed on sometime in the mid 1960's.

This is how this car was purchased in 1961 by my father and his business partner. They sure didn't pay much for the extra block and got the car for a song.

I'm sharing this historical document that came with the Cord my dad purchased in 1961. Donald E. Finnicum is believed to be the second owner of my Cord. This is a letter addressed to him by E.C. Bartel of ACD date 03-06-1950 apparently acknowledging receipt of an order for parts and repair advice.
