I'm not seeing anything like that on my 37 sedan. Can't tell you what may have been on others.

Can anyone advise if Cords were originally fitted with a sealing strip attached to the door lower edge ?. I have never seen them although I have an old data sheet from Stan showing how they fit. Seems like a good idea to seal the gap between door bottom and sill plate.
