Hi All
Does anyone have any info or photographs of Cord Motor Cars in Africa. I am researching the cars that were owned there and have to date around 6 cars listed. There were apparently two Cords in Rhodesia, and then there was an Auburn that was fitted with a Cord front end. The Auburn was restored in the 80s and I believe the front end went to America - Anyone know more on this?
Thank you in advance

Sorry, but I don't have anything on these cars. Check with the ACD Museum archives on export department. They have some information. Jon Bill is head of that research department.

Hi . I was browsing through the various topics on the site and saw an enquiry about Cords in Africa. If you are still interested, there are a few cords in Africa. I know of the one in Zimbabwe. There are 4 in Johannesburg. Sed Pierce owns an original limo 1937 Beverley and a Sportster, Mike Otto owns a 1937 Beverly and I have started restoration of a 810 Westchester. There is also one in Knysna (not sure what model) and possibly another unrestored one in Pretoria.
