On the fluke - Snyders Model A ford in Springfield, OH owns a seat spring company and they actually have patterns for 34-36 Auburn - worth asking

Hello Hal
Attached are some picture of an early production Custom Berline with Serial No 812 1000 B that I saw in Auburn in 2011. If you contact Ron Irwin he will be able to tell you who currently owns it. It had been restored to perfection.

John
Thanks again for the photos.
I sent photos of what I have which is the basic seat frame.
I would appreciate photos of the front seat from a little farther away and a photo of the front seat when you take the upholstery off so I can see how the
seat back is padded to crete the curve that follows the contour of the divider. Im especially interested in how the padding was done on the top of the backrest to make it curved. Was it horse hair?

Thank you so much
So it appears that the top of front seat that is front of the divider window has a wooden curved strip on top and the side of the seat to the B pillar is filled in with upholstered wood
That helps

Try contacting Doug Pray in Oklahoma. I believe he restored an award winning Custom Berline a few years ago.

Thank you Terry
I have Beverly seats from my Beverly but I am wondering if the Berline seats are different. As My Berline seats are basically disintegrated and don't know if the top of the front seat is designed

Cord BERLINE ownership and history was created by cordman
First, let me introduce myself. My name is Hal Bjorklund and I am a member of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club. I own several ACD cars, one being a '37 supercharged custom Berline. We know the locations of several of the some 40 original cars but not many of them.

What I am trying to do is to gather whatever information might be available on the Cord Berline's that you own so that I can properly compile the reference data available on these rare automobiles.

If, per chance, you have had your Berline certified at an ACD meet, and you have a copy of the certification, I would appreciate it if you would provide the certification number to me. The certification contains most all of the information that will be needed to compile the initial database. If you have had the car certified, ACD's Paul Bryant will be my source for information. If you have NOT had the car certified I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the following information:

* Year
* Model
* Color - Now
* Color - Previous
* Serial #
* Engine #
* Body #
* Frame #
* Trans #
* S/C #
* Ownership history (to the best of your knowledge)
* Recorded history of the car
* Registration date, past and present
* Current restoration completed (if restored)
* Anything else you might be able to share about this car would be appreciated
* Does your car have a passenger to driver intercom?

Pictures, if you have them, include the exterior, trunk, rear vanity (dash) if you have one, underhood, and number plates

All information collected will be shared by all participants and known owners.
