Hi Bill,

I'll check my disassembled hulk and get a pic to you. <!-- s:-D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":-D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:-D -->

I know I can estimate the location. I just need to know what the hole looks like and what to expect.

Bill-
If you have the original-type latches, you can closely estimate the position of the body-side holes by holding the deck part in place and measuring the distance from the latch to the mountiing holes in the lower half of the latch. The body holes are a large oval hole which the latch protrusion goes into, and two tapped holes for the mountiing screws. If you can't find it, I will remove one of mine and take a photo.

I am undoing a number of the "hotrod" mods that were done to my Cabriolet. Right now, I have removed the modern trunk-latch and refinished the rear deck.

I am getting ready to install my restored Cord trunk latches. I have to drill out the bondo or whatever they used. I am not sure what the hole sizes are or what the shape is. The deck side is easy. I can see where to drill the holes. It's the body side that I am concerned about.

If you have any detailed pictures of what the holes look like on the body half, I would much appreciate it.

Here is what I am getting rid of:
