Ken, I sent you a PM . with my phone number. I can help you with your technical questions.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

You can obtain a manual from the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. The switch on the right is probably a electric fuel pump. Trace the wires and see where they go.

The Startix box is mounted on the side of your engine. I assume you pushed the button on the side of that box to start you car.
That button is an override, in case the Startix selonoid gets stuck.

The STX switch (pictured on the left) is your starting switch. That toggle switch under the dash is not factory. Maybe it works your heater?

There should be a toggle switch on the steering column, right side. Push the lever up to engage the fuel pump (if you have an electric pump)
Then click the lever down to engage the starter. As soon as the engine starts up, switch the lever back to the up position and that's all you have to do.

Hello again guys. Well the weather is finally starting to clear and it's time to use my new 1936 852 Cabriolet. As this is my first time owning a pre-war car, I'd like to know if there is any type of manual I can buy/download to help me operate the different systems. Starting with starting! Right now we need to lift the passenger side cowl and push a start button on the engine. Not convenient! Is there a proper way? This is where the manual would come in handy! Thanks in advance!
