I have this 2 barrel carburetor on our Auburn 8-101 and it has a leak so I need to get a rebuild kit. The problem is I can not seem to identify the model number or what it off of, I am pretty sure it is not Auburn, any ideas?

Thanks!
Curt

Looks like a reproduced Stromberg IE Ford v8. Your car should have a Stromberg up draft UR02. R

Randy,
Thanks, I am now finding mine looks to be a reproduction of a Stromberg 97 by speedway motors.

Two things, first the front rubber floor mat in Jay's 12 you recently did, do you recreate that or is there a source?

Second, while trying to figure out my carb I was looking on the parts manual and it looks like in the 8-101 it may have been a transition year. Our car is a 1933 Salon and I noticed in the parts manual it shows it could have been either a Schebler J2-178 which appears to be an updraft or a Stromberg J10010 which appears to be a downdraft. Either way my junk is wrong but it is what I have for now :)

I have seen several 33's with downdrafts in this configuration, now no telling if correct or not :)

Good question, I just assumed a 33 was a 101 (assumed incorrectly).

Now that I look at some other 105 characteristics such as hydraulic brakes and a Salon I am guessing this is a 105 and not a 101. Good catch! Unfortunately none of the original engine tags or body tags still exist on this one so it is a bit of a treasure hunt figuring this one out..

Any recommendations on a source for the front rubber floor mats?

Thanks!
