1932 Auburn 8-100A
serial no# 8-100A-6861A
Eng No# GU 71998 (casting No# GU100CC)
Body No# Central MFG. Co. C-SO-17324
Frame 5861
I just purchased this car a couple of months ago. been in the previous family since 1952. Was just wondering if anyone can tell me if all the numbers corrospond with this car, as it came from the factory.
Thanks for any input.

These engines and cars were checked to see that all casting sand was out of the engine blocks:

Serial No. Engine No.
5602 71156
5627 71267
5630 71222
5628 71310

From the numbers (C50) the body was built by Central at Connersville and installed on a chassis there. C50 bodies were 1932 & 1933 sedan and not 1931. I'd say it is matching numbers original.
