The font brakes on our 31 8-98 are pulling pretty hard to the left so it looks like I will be doing some adjusting. Are there any secrets I should be aware of when adjusting cable brakes, this is anew world for me :)

Thanks,
Curt Curtiss

Hello Curt,
I just adjusted my brakes on my 31. On the back of the drums there is a slot head bolt holding up a flat piece of metal, remove and you will see a brass adjustment wheel. I tool a brake spoon and ground it down to fit the wheel. Turn the wheel clockwise while you rotate the tire until you feel a little drag, do the same for all four.

There are some basic features that are not intuitive.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
