As already posted, the serial number is incorrect. The ending "A" represents a sedan.

To identify car, check body plate...serial number is followed by a letter .In speedster case,it should be "E".Beware of phonies !

Auburn VIN codes was created by brick
Hi, i was offered a car, which is presented by it s owner as a 1932 Auburn boattail speedster.Since i have only a little theoretical knowledge about Auburn body, frame and engine No. system,i would like to ask if someone can help me with the vin codes. The only info i have is,that the body No is : 8100AG348A.Is there a way how to identify only by checking VIN if the car is correct?
On one hand,I m interrested in purchase of Auburn, but only original car-not a replica or complete or partial rebody.
Any halp is appriciated.
Thanks,greeting
