The nickle /cad base of the spark plug will be black (Gun Blued)-I usually just use a high temperature primer.

Very interesting way of stamping new tags. I would never have thought to do it like that. Good way to keep the letters and numbers in the same alignment. Something to remember if I ever change my tags on any of my parts. Thanks for the enlightenment too...
