Your dash is gloss black Craig.

Auburn 851
34-36 Auburn firewall and dash color was created by yorkgulch
I'm getting close to painting my 851 convertible sedan and have noticed several older restorations online that have the firewall painted black while the rest of the car including the door frames are a different color. Were these partial repaints or were the firewalls originally painted black for part of the production run?
Also were the dashes semi gloss or gloss black?
Thanks
