Does anyone remember a joke played at the ACD museum maybe twenty years ago, using a replica speedster?
Someone built a glass replica speedster on a beam axle Ford pickup chassis. They did side pipes on one side only, and if I remember correctly, used a Pontiac straight eight engine. They used the Ford truck steering column with the column lock.
Anyway, the joke was on one of the old tour guides, an Auburn expert. As I remember, he sang the praises of this Auburn for several days before someone told him it was a replica. He was pretty steamed.
